About TM Block

TM Block is a a weather-resistant block placed in pasture or pen for free-choice intake, built at Mid South Feeds for beef cow-calf operations, stocker cattle, and dairy support herds. Formulated for condition, gain, mineral status, and milk output. The recipe runs from our Alma, Georgia mill on the same line that our family has milled feed on since 1991, so what comes out of the bag this week looks and smells like what came out of it last week — that consistency is what our 300+ dealers across the Southeast keep buying.

Use TM Block from creep to finishing, paired with clean fresh water, free-choice forage where the species needs it, and a clean feeder. Packaged in 50 lb bags for easy handling at the barn or store.

Feeding Directions

  • Beef cows on pasture: feed at a rate to maintain body condition score 5–6, typically 5–10 lb per head per day depending on forage quality.
  • Backgrounding / stocker cattle: feed 1.5–2.0% of body weight daily, split into two feedings; introduce gradually over 7–10 days.
  • Provide free-choice forage (hay or pasture) and clean fresh water. Offer a complete mineral free-choice in a separate feeder.
  • Adjust rate based on body condition, weather, and forage availability. Consult your local extension office for rations specific to your operation.
