Flaxseed Meal Bucket is a fine meal form for ration blending or top-dressing, built at Mid South Feeds for whitetail deer, turkey, and managed wildlife herds. Formulated for antler development, body condition, and herd health. The recipe runs from our Alma, Georgia mill on the same line that our family has milled feed on since 1991, so what comes out of the bag this week looks and smells like what came out of it last week — that consistency is what our 300+ dealers across the Southeast keep buying.

Use Flaxseed Meal Bucket spring through winter, paired with clean fresh water, free-choice forage where the species needs it, and a clean feeder. Packaged in 8 lb bags for easy handling at the barn or store.

Ingredients

Grain products (corn, oats, soybean meal), processed grain by-products, plant protein products, dehydrated alfalfa meal, molasses products, calcium carbonate, salt, monocalcium phosphate, vitamin A supplement, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, sodium selenite.

Feeding Directions

• Place feed in a covered gravity feeder, trough, or directly on the ground at known travel routes. 50 lb of feed will typically last 8–15 deer for one week depending on natural forage availability.
• Pre-rut and rut (Sept–Nov): increase feeding to support buck recovery and doe condition.
• Late winter and spring antler growth: maintain feeding to support body condition recovery and antler mineralization.
• Check local wildlife regulations before feeding — supplemental feeding rules vary by state and county.
