Feeding Directions

This product is a complete feed and is to be fed continuously as the sole ration. Provide clean, fresh water at all times.

Gestating Sows and Gilts: Feed 4.5 lb per head per day. Adjust feeding level to maintain proper body condition. Thirty days before farrowing gradually increase the amount of fed so that at farrowing time each sow or gilt is consuming 6 to 8 lb daily.

Lactating Sows and Gilts: Feed a limited amount (2 to 4 lb) on the day of farrowing. Gradually increase the amount fed so that 7 to 10 days after farrowing the sows and gilts are either on full feed or to the desired level for lactating animals.

Developing Gilts: Remove gilts from the finishing lots at approximately 150 lb. Feed each developing gilt 5 lb daily until “flushing” at approximately 8 months of age. One week prior to breeding, the gilts should receive 6 to 8 lb daily.

Boars: Feed each boar 4 to 5 lb daily during the non-breeding season and 5 to 7 lb daily during the breeding season. Adjust the amount fed to maintain proper body condition.
